Assemble your own phone.

Google has started taking requests for developer boards used for
the Project Ara modular phone. The board was unveiled during the
developer conference in April , and helps developers build prototypes
of modules for the handset. You can request the board by clicking
on the sourcelink below, and filling out the form. This must be done
before the clock turns to July 18th on the West Coast of the U.S. A
second group of requests can be made before August 18th.
Before you get the board, you have to agree to a number of terms
from Google. Because there is a limited number of boards, Google
wants to know precisely how you plan on using it. The boards are
necessary because developers need to make sure that their modules
work with the circuitry of the handset.
The first set of boards is expected to ship later this month. If you do
receive your dev board so soon, it means that Google likes your idea
and thinks your module has merit. By the way, the next developer
conference will be taking place in November. By then, we will know
who won the $100,000 for the first Project Ara Developer Prize
Challenge. You need to send in a 5 minute video along with the
official entry form. The entry must be in Google's hands by
September 1st while a working module must be received by
September 30th. On that date, the winner will be notified. The first
place winner receives $100,000 and the knowledge that his module
will certainly be offered to Project Ara buyers.

LG G3 available for Preorder in India.

LG officially unveiled the G3 smartphone only recently. The device is
the successor model of the popular LG G2 smartphone, it comes
with major upgrades in hardware and display resolution on board.
We have already seen the company open pre-orders for this device
in India but today the official release date has been announced. The
G3 will be launched in India on 21 this month, with G3 launch date
being announced we have two great smartphones entering the
Indian market this month.
Earlier this month Xiaomi revealed its plans of launching the Mi3
smartphone in India. The Mi3 comes in competition with the last
year’s G2 smartphone and is nowhere close to the G3 in terms of
specs and features.
The LG G3 is currently up for pre-order for a price of Rs 46,990. It
comes with a 5.5-inch Quad HD display and is powered by a
Snapdragon 801 Quad-Core processor. There is 3GB RAM paired
with 16/32GB of on board storage, this device allows memory
expansion with Micro SD cards slot and has a 13-MP rear camera
with Optical Image Stabilization feature.
LG G3 has two major advantage over other flagship phones which
are memory expansion and a 3,000mAH removable battery.

analyze users' brainwaves and
gauge their level of focus.

horizontal white line starts to rise on Google Glass "screen."
When the level crosses a certain threshold, MindRDR tells
Google Glass to take a picture. Stay focussed and Glass will
post the photo on social media.
"It's pretty cool when you have taken a picture and shared it,
just by thinking," said Chloe Kirton, creative director of This
Place.
The technology could also be used to help those with severe
physical disabilities such as locked-in syndrome or severe
multiple sclerosis.
The new app is yet to be approved by Google Glass team.

Sapphire is the new buzzword in smartphones - the material, second
only to diamond in terms of hardness, is almost impossible to
scratch, and it’s expected to make a splash if Apple releases its
iPhone 6 with a sapphire display.

that running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
Disappointing isn’t it?

Note 4 : Release Date, Features, Rumors, Specs And Everything You want to Know


The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is expected to be unveiled at the IFA
show event in Berlin running from September 5th-10th. This hopes
to be Samsungs' best smartphone/tablet to date. They want to be
strong competition for Apple's new iPhone 6 with the Galaxy Note 4
release around the same time in late 2014 and just in time for the
holiday shopping season.
The president of Samsung said that the new Galaxy Note 4 will have
a different feel then its predecessors. The big rumor as well is that
the Galaxy Note 4 will have a display that wraps around the edges of
the screen. The Korea Times has reported that the curved-display
option of the Galaxy Note 4 may be available on a small scale
markets, but the main version of the Galaxy Note 4 will feature a flat
AMOLED display like the previous models.
The size has been growing by each generation of Galaxy Note
device. The original Note had a 5.3-inch screen, the Note 2 a 5.5-
inch screen and the Note 3 a 5.7-inch display. The Galaxy Note 4 will
hold at 5.7-inches or continue with the increase and could feature a
5.9-inch display (which would equal the HTC One Max and LG G Pro
2). The Note 4 will also a hold the qHD display or 2K pixel based
screen and is expected to feature a 2560 x 1440 QHD Super
AMOLED resolution display. The Galaxy Note 3 included a 5.7-inch
Full HD display that was 388 pixels per inch (ppi) and the Galaxy
Note 4 could feature a 5.7-inch QHD that would support a pixel
density of 515 ppi. Samsung has already produced the first flagship
tablets on the market with the WQXGA (2560 x 1600 pixel) Super
AMOLED display.
Galaxy Note 3 price is around $730 in most of the countries and a
$750 for the Note 4 is what many are expecting but would not cross
$800 barrier.
The Galaxy Note 4 will feature either Samsung's new 64-bit Exynos
processor or Snapdragon 805, with a Adreno 330/430 GPU.
Samsung might make a deal with Google for the Galaxy Note 4 to
use for Android 4.5 Lollypop version. The Note 4 will use an octa-
core Exynos 5433 chip, have 4GB of RAM, and a Touchwhiz
interface.
The Galaxy Note 4 could be packed with 20.7 MP of Primary rear
Camera and 2-5 MP front facing camera. It might even be able to
shoot video underwater. This would be their best camera yet as the
Note 3 has a 13MP camera and the Galaxy S5 has a 16MP camera.
Apple's iPhone 5S already comes with fingerprint scanner, so the
new iPhone 6 will have this feature as well. Rumors suggest that
Note 4 will also integrate the use of a Fingerprint scanner feature.
Other specs for the Galaxy Note 4 could include 4G LTE
connectivity, a fingerprint scanner, wireless charging support, and
microSD card storage. Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is its Stylus Pen, its
IP67 certifications which able to provide feature of Water resistant
as well as dust proof screen.

Android Wear : From your hand to your wrist.

We are living in the era of the emergence of wearing the technology. The smartness of your phone is now more ergonomic with the new Android Wear. It requires a companion smartphone running Android 4.3 or later. That covers Kit Kat and the later versions of Jelly Bean qnd the upcoming Android L, but according to Google's own stats, only about a quarter of Android devices have either. For a variety of reasons, many recent phones can't be upgraded(*Fragmentation*). And of course, no iPhones. The companion phone doesn't have to be from the same manufacturer as the watch.   Most of your interactions with the watch are by voice, similar to using Google Now on Android phones and Siri on iPhones. You can scroll through a short menu of functions, but it's primarily there as suggestions and isn't comprehensive. To activate the voice function, just tap on the watch face or say "OK, Google." You can ask the watch to set an alarm, check your calendar or send a reminder. You can't use the watch as a speakerphone for calls, the way previous Samsung smartwatches allowed. But you can make calls or answer ones that come in. The call still goes through the phone, but that's not a problem if you have a Bluetooth headset. You can send texts by dictating a message or using canned ones such as "Yes," ''No," or "On my way." You can't add your own prewritten response, the way you can on Samsung's previous watches. Android Wear also lets you send and receive emails and read Facebook notifications. If you prefer using the phone, there's a button you can tap to have the message automatically open there.    Android Wear isn't quite there yet as a must-have product, but I can only imagine what it will evolve into in the months and years ahead.
