Battle of the "0" figures

Gionee launched the Elife S5.5 smartphone about recently, the
device’s name compliments its thickness. It is mere 5.5mm thick
and currently owns the crown of the slimmest smartphone in the
world. The Gionee Elife S5.5 is a device that is between the high end
and mid range smartphones, you can call it a mid high range phone.
It has a 5-inch FHD display, an Octa-Core processor and 2GB RAM.
It also got the latest KitKat update this month which makes it one of
the few mid-to-high range smartphones with that OS.
If you have the Gionee Elife S5.5 and think the device is very thin
and people cannot make a smartphone thinner than this then you
should hold your thoughts a little back. Gionee, the company who
has the cap of the world’s thinnest smartphone in the world is not
ready to lose that title just yet. iPhone 6 is rumored to be around
the thickness of 6.6mm thickness and with Gionee GN9005 the
company is all set to create new records.
Gionee GN9005 is rumored to have a thickness of 5.0mm thickness,
half a centimeter or 0.2-inch thickness, it is said that this
smartphone will be a mid range smartphone and it will have a 4.8-
inch HD display. It is likely to be powered by a 1.2GHz Quad-Core
processor (could be Snapdragon), 1GB RAM and 2050mAH battery.
It will be smaller and thinner than the current thinnest smartphone in
the world. So it would once again baffle smartphone manufacture
how Gionee would fit in such huge battery in a smartphone with only
5mm thickness. We are eager to get our hands on this smartphone
