Notion Ink has released their
second tablet in the Indian market monikered as Notion Ink MB-OX 10.1.
The tablet has been listed for sale at online shopping giant Infibeam
for Rs 10,999.
Although this silent release
was a little
surprising to see as the company was supposedly bringing its Adam 2, which was leaked a while ago, and instead the new tablet looks more like a rebranded tablet. But looking at the updates on the company’s Facebook page, it seems Notion Ink is still working on Adam 2, that will hopefully be coming in months.
Talking about the Notion Ink MB-OX 10.1, the tablet runs on Android 4.1.1 and is powered by 1.5GHz dual-core Cortex A9 processor. It also comes with 25.6-cm (10.1-inch) IPS display with 1280x800p resolution, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage, 2MP rear and front cameras, and microSD card slot.
In addition, MB-OX 10.1 offers Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, HDMI out, MicroUSB port, 6000 mAh battery and 3G support via USB dongle. From the promo images present in the product listing, there do not seem to be any software customisations present on the tablet.
