Here's How The Future With Android May Look Like!

Since its inception, the Android operating system has completely revamped the mobile industry. Not only has it left the Symbian OS high and dry, it has made its mark in televisions, wearable devices etc. Moreover, this is only going to grow. Google may have created a thing of the future with its Google Glass, but with their Android operating system, this is just the beginning. So, here’s a look at what might be in the future.

1) Google Glass: As mentioned before, this device is a thing of the future. The Google Glass can take pictures, map the road right in front of your eyes, translate languages etc. All this, without using your hand and through voice recognition.

2) Navigation: It has already brought a variety of innovations in Navigation, but the Android OS could take things like Google Maps to a whole new level. Imaging quality will grow and so will the reach.

3) Authentication Features: Apple may have come up with the Touch ID fingerprint sensor, but come 2020 and you might be able use a tattoo on your body to authenticate yourself. Such technology, using tattoos and pills to authenticate users, have been known to work.

4) Unbreakable and bendable screens: This one is actually expected quite soon. While manufacturers go on increasing the screen size on smartphones, there is but one problem, they break. This will be solved when manufacturers like Samsung and Nokia finish working on their bendable phones, Samsung Galaxy Skin and the Nokia 888.

5) Hologram calling: We have voice calls, we have video calls, but it’s always cooler when you see those hologram-based calls in movies. Well, it’s possible and part of the technology already exists. The Android OS could very well be the missing piece in the puzzle.

6) Running appliances through Android: Samsung has a refrigerator, which runs on the Android OS and has the Google Calendar and Evernote integrated into it. It helps users prepare shopping lists etc. for now, but this will surely be taken to the next level.

7) Messaging: You may soon have free internet connections all around you, making Whats App and other apps like that the sole messaging formula.

8) Embrace the cloud: Google’s Chrome OS allows users to use apps from the Chrome Browser as long as their have an internet connection. This is the first use of cloud computing. Integrating the Chrome OS with the Android OS would bring a whole new dimension to cloud computing.

9) Floating touch: Remember Iron Man? Remember his holographic computers, where he just touches stuff in thin air? Yes, it is coming, quite soon too.
